Night by Elie Weisel Pt. 1

Night by Elie Weisel. The wheel turns to show the progression of the novel. This is frame 1, starting from the very edge.
I used an exactoblade to cut the fine details and string to attach everything together. There are four layers of paper: from back to front, they are: the back, just a square piece of blue paper; the wheel, a round piece of blue paper; the design, a piece of red paper cut into these shapes and colored over with sharpie; and the front, which provides a cover to complete the \'wheel\' aspect. A rolled up piece of paper circling the string/center separates the back and front enough from the wheel that it can spin easily and without snags.

I made this because I hadn\'t papercrafted anything all semester and I was in the mood. Also, I am a bit of an overachiever, and when my professor told us to do a \"creative\" journal about Night, this is what I chose to do.
If I don\'t get an A in that class, I will punch things.

Sorry I haven\'t been active over the past few months - I haven\'t been in the mood to papercraft, and this semester has been so busy that I feel bad about papercrafting when I could be studying.
